Once again this article had been a true lesson. It reflects on detail, the historical settlement and the formation of a complex border city such as Tijuana. It supports my believes, that borders are the transitional area from the known to the unknown (culturally and socially), from the black to the white, creating a diverse range of gray on the middle. I am really interesting on “Alien environments”. And base on the location and the role of Tijuana, working as a cultural mediator field. It forms and deforms, creating alien environments, specially for the rest of the world. We are only spectators, perceiving Tijuana from what the media projects.
